Aleksey Shipov Participates in HRM Expo 2015
HRM Expo, an annually-held federal-scale exhibition and forum for professionals in administration and human resource development in businesses and organizations of any scale and from any industry, took place in St. Petersburg on 19 to 20 March 2015.
Companies offering partnership in tackling important problems and implementing modification programs in all areas of personnel management and human services to corporate HR departments were among its participants. Participating companies possess a set of tools and state-of-the-art solutions which proved to be efficient as well as basically significant experience and high-quality professional expertise.
Aleksey Shipov, Member of the Board of ACIG Group of Companies and Managing Director of the Sustainable Future of Russia platform for young professionals, took part in the roundtable discussion, entitled Role of IT in Succession Pool Training and Achieving Full Potential of Young Professionals, on 19 March at the forum section, entitled IT-Solutions for HR.
Mr. Shipov talked about the experience of the platform in shaping and developing the succession pool for key industries of the economy and the system of public administration. The experience of implementing SAP SuccessFactors for handling the problems related to the platform.
“The topic of shaping the succession pool is nowadays not just urgent for our country. We absolutely need ‘brains’ able to generate value-creating novel ideas in hard times, and people able to pick up these ideas and implement them against the background of scarce resources. This issue has to be considered strategically, meaning we need to actively engage young people. As Sustainable Future of Russia is a federal-scale platform and works with different industries, we are facing a complicated problem. Implementation of the Platform agenda involves processes with several thousands of participating parties involved. Obviously, ‘manual mode’ of the Platform operation is an ‘unattainable luxury’. Our experience of introduction of SuccessFactors indicates that almost all processes required for handling the personnel can be made automatic within two to three months, of course if necessary methods of operations have been put to practice. Now that these advanced technologies enforce our HR-related methods of work, Sustainable Future of Russia platform is the best solution to the personnel problem for young people and our partners,” Mr. Shipov says.
