Berlin Hosts Third Russian-German Conference for Energy Efficiency

The conference, entitled Through Innovations to Energy Efficiency, was held by the German-Russian Economic Association together with ACIG Group of Companies in Berlin on 20 March 2015.

Largest German and Russian companies, namely, Bank GPB, Е.ON, Siemens, Bosch and Viessmann, participated in the conference.

The agenda of the conference included several issues of development of the energy markets of Russia and Germany. Reports on current plans of investment into power generation industry-related projects were presented and possible ways of cooperation between Russian and Germany in this industry. The experts discussed innovative mechanisms of establishing energy-efficient production, specifically, small-scale and nonconventional power generation.

German-Russian Economic Association unites Russian and German companies and supports large-scale international projects with the participation of these two countries. Mikhail Prokudin, Head of the Division for International Relations in ACIG Group of Companies, is Member of the Association Board.
