ACIG Takes Part in the 7th Congress of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Moscow hosted the 7th Congress of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Delegates summed up the results of the Chamber’s activities in the years after the 6th Congress and discussed major areas of its work for the period from 2016 until 2020.
The Congress was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of Russia, Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Russian Government and non-government organizations. Territorial chambers of commerce and industry, commercial organizations, unions, associations and other alliances of entrepreneurs that are members of the Russian CCI were represented by 512 delegates. ACIG Group of Companies was represented by Mikhail Prokudin, head of the International Relations Department.
One of the key speeches at the Congress was the address by President of Russia Vladimir Putin who said that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was an important partner in solving national problems.
The plenary session closed with the election of President of the CCI of Russia. The present head of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin was unanimously re-elected for the next five-year term.
