Global Compact Participants Summarize the Year's Results

Annual general meeting of the participants of the UN Global Compact Network in Russia was held on December 22, 2015. This is a significant event because this year the United Nations Organization celebrates its 70th anniversary, while the UN Global Compact in Russia celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Participants discussed performance results of the Russian Network of the UN Global Compact and outlined the key development trends and priorities. The meeting was attended by the participants of the UN Global Compact Network in Russia and distinguished guests from the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs, RF Public Chamber, and RF Ministry for Economic Development, UN agencies and other Network partners. 

An official ceremony of awarding member organizations of the UN Global Compact Management Committee for their substantial input to the development of Russia was held during the meeting.  ACIG Group of Companies was awarded for active promotion of responsible business practices in Russia. The Diploma was granted to Alexander Plakida, Deputy Chairman of the Board of ACIG Group of Companies, member of the Network Management Committee.
