Corporate Donor Day at ACIG Group of Companies
On August 19th, ACIG Group of Companies together with the FMBA Blood Center on-site team held the third joint charity event – the corporate Donor Day. It was organized on the initiative of the Company's employees – permanent members of the donor movement.
Many ACIG employees have never been donors, but they were glad to receive this new experience, and fully supported the initiative to participate in such actions on a regular basis. Among those employees were also regular donors. The atmosphere of unity and a mutual good deed united all the participants.
The donation procedure took place in a comfortable environment for employees. The on-site blood transfusion station with experienced transfusiologists was at the Company’s office building.
The role of donors is extremely important in today’s world. Not a single invention in the sphere of medicine can replace blood and its components. This problem is extremely acute in summer when many donors on vacation because the number of those who need blood is not reduced.
Social responsibility is one of the most important principles of ACIG Group of Companies. The Donor Day has become a good tradition in the Company, which should be maintained on a regular basis.
