Mikhail Prokudin of ACIG Elected for German-Russian Economic Association Board
Annual meeting of the German-Russian Economic Association was held on 28 January 2015 in Berlin. Viktor Tolmachyov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ACIG Group of Companies, and Mikhail Prokudin, Head of the Division for International Relations, participated in the meeting within the framework of the agreement signed between ACIG and the Association in 2014.
The Association presented its operating report, action plan for 2015 was adopted with regard to the current political standing, new members of the Board were elected at the meeting. Mr. Prokudin was elected Member of the Board of the Association.
“By joining the Board of the Association, ACIG will discover some new opportunities. Actively participating in accomplishing the purposes specified in the Articles of the Association in the new political standing, we will be able to employ a wide variety of contacts of the Association in political and business communities of the country as well as the well-established renown in the system of Russian and German relations to the full to promote interests of ACIG in Germany,” Mr. Prokudin said.
A panel discussion, entitled Sustainable Economic Development against Mutual Sanctions. Political Aspirations and Economic Responsibility. Russian and German Relations, Their Development, Stagnation or Recession. Current Situation, Problems and Prospects, was held on the same day. Experts from Russia and Germany including Mikhail Delyagin, Director of the Globalization Institute; Sasha Tamm, member of the Liberal Institute of Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit; and Mikhail Kartashev, private international law advocate, took part in the conference.
German-Russian Economic Association unites Russian and German companies and supports large-scale international projects with the involvement of these two states.
