ACIG Group of Companies to act as an organizer of the panel discussion “Atom for Peace as a Catalyst for Integration” within the framework of the International Research Conference “Russia and the World: Challenges of Integration”
On January 17, 2013, on the second day of the Gaidar Forum, the panel discussion “Atom for Peace as a Catalyst for Integration” will take place; it is organized by ACIG and Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
The Gaidar Forum is a permanent discussion platform and a meeting place of the experts, influencing economic and political development. On January 16-19, 2013, Russia’s integration into the global trade will be discussed within the framework of the Gaidar Forum.
The following topics will be discussed at the panel discussion “Atom for Peace as a Catalyst for Integration”:
- global integration processes and intergovernmental nuclear projects;
- strengthening cooperation in nuclear and radiation safety;
- effective economy of the atomic energy industry;
- innovation industry development, implementation of technological know-how and new management technologies.
Mikhail Kovalchuk, Director of the Scientific Research Centre “Kurchatov Institute” and Viktor Tolmachev, Chairman of ACIG Supervisory Board of will acts as moderators of the panel discussion “Atom for Peace as a Catalyst for Integration”.
Heads of the largest Russian and Foreign state corporations, international non-commercial and public organizations, which are experts in the sphere of atomic energy industry development, and the leading scientists will also participate in the panel discussion.
Within the framework of the panel discussion “Atom for Peace as a Catalyst for Integration”, prospects of atomic energy industry development and safety on account of the search for the unified sectoral standards and strengthening partnership of the leading nuclear powers will be discussed.
