ACIG comes up with an Agreement on Cooperation and Information Exchange with the Business Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

On September 24, an official meeting between Chairman of the ACIG Supervisory Board Victor Tolmachev and Executive Secretary of the Business Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Sergei Kanavsky took place, which resulted in signing an Agreement on Cooperation and Information Exchange on the issues of socio-economic, socio-political, socio-cultural, economic and political activities of the SCO countries.

The following priority goals were identified by the parties: formulating expert recommendations aimed at strengthening economic integration and harmonizing national legislations in the economic sphere of the SCO territory.

This approach will enable redefining development of the interstate cooperation based on interaction among Regional Integration Process Organization, governments and representatives of the business community of the SCO countries.
