ACIG participates in the events of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Kaliningrad

On October 3-6, 2012 the following events of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) took place in Kaliningrad: the ICIE Council Presidium meeting, the ICIE Council meeting, the exhibition “ICIE: the territory of cooperation”. Head of the ACIG Public sector practice A.S. Shipov participated in the events of the Congress.  

Governor of the Kaliningrad Region N.N.Tsukanov was present at the ICIE Council meeting, during which the key organizational decisions were made and the priority directions of developing and improving the Congress’s work were discussed. President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs A.N. Shokhin was followed by the Chairman of the Board of the Employers Confederation of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K.Baikenov as the Chairman of the ICIE Council. The government of the Kaliningrad Region presented perspective proposals and investment projects for realization with participation of ICIE’s members and partners.

The main events program of the Congress was accompanied by the exhibition “ICIE: the territory of cooperation”. At this exhibition, the government of the Kaliningrad Region presented the projects of industrial zones, created on the territory of the region. A number of round tables on strengthening economic and industrial potentials of territories, promoting international economic cooperation and improving business conditions were held within the framework of the exhibition.

The ACIG representative held several fruitful working meetings with the government of the Kaliningrad Region, regional business circles and states represented in the Congress, which resulted in marking out future cooperation on a great number of tasks, aimed at promoting sustainable development of global integration processes.
