ACIG to organize the seminar for the discussion of the APEC first Innovation Technology Dialogue results

ACIG continues organizing and hosting events within the framework of Russia’s APEC Presidency.

On October 29, supported by the ACIG, Moscow will hold a seminar dedicated to practical realization of recommendations of the APEC first Innovation Technology Dialogue “Nanotechnology for Energy Efficiency”, the pilot meeting of which was successfully held in Kazan on May 26-27.

Holding Innovation Technology Dialogue within the framework of the APEC Forum is Russia’s idea. United by the Dialogue, the leading scientists, entrepreneurs and field-specific managers discussed the problems connected with introduction of nanotechnologies in energy efficiency and methods of their solution. Discussion process was an important phase in forming mechanisms strategic long-term and medium-term development of innovation markets. The Dialogue’s resulting document “Recommendations of Innovation Technology Dialogue on Nanotechnologies in Energy Efficiency” was prepared for the trade ministers of APEC economies. 

The seminar will be held in the form of plenary sessions, where special attention will be paid to the existing nanotechnologies, which can be applied in energy efficiency, projects of political decisions promoting their implementation, problems and prospects of applying these technologies in Russia.
