Annual All-Russia Competition “Sustainable Future of Russia”

Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration together with ACIG are organizing the Annual All-Russia Competition of research and project works of students and post-graduates “Sustainable Future of Russia”.

The aim of the competition is to provide comprehensive support for young professionals, oriented at sustainable development of Russia, strengthening innovation-based socially oriented culture and establishing a system for staff training.

Today implementing Russia’s strategic goals requires new approaches and ways how to address a wide range of issues, among which efficiency of public sector, development of social sphere and ensuring environmental safety are especially important for sustainable future of our country.

Therefore, the following topics were selected by the organizers for the competition in 2012:

1. Increasing quality and availability of public services.
2. Development of institutes of public opinion is a prerequisite condition for Russia’s sustainable development.
3. Elaborating the concept of conventional and(or) alternative methods for addressing the problem of recycling in the Russian Federation (for example, in the spheres of necessary infrastructure etc.).

Russian students, post-graduates and their teams are invited to take part in the competition, notwithstanding their faculty, specialty, and mode of study. The participants submit self-prepared and finished research and project works on the announced topics, which should contain novelty.

In the final the winners will be selected in each of the three topics. The authors of the best works will be awarded according to their placing:

1st place: educational program to the amount of 100,000 rubles.

2nd place: educational program to the amount of 50,000 rubles.

3rd place: educational program to the amount of 20,000 rubles.

The winners of the competition can choose the educational program: training, further training, foreign language courses, creative and personal development.

For those students and post-graduates, who take part in the competition, this is not just a way to reveal their business and creative skills, but also to get a real chance to undertake an internship within the team of experienced ACIG professionals or take up scientific and teaching activity at one of the country’s leading universities – at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

The deadline for applications is June 24, 2012.

The final of the competitions will take place in Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration at the International conference “Russia and the World” within Gaidar Forum.
