Experts of the ACIG Group of Companies take part in the roundtable "Experience in diagnostics and self-evaluation of the management systems and the company’s work based on the provisions of the standard ISO 26000:2010 (GOST R ISO 26000:2012)"

On March 4, 2014 the roundtable Experience in diagnostics and self-evaluation of the management systems and the company’s work based on the provisions of the standard ISO 26000:2010 (GOST R ISO 26000:2012): opportunities for use in management and public reports" took place in the building of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, with the support of the RUIE Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility and Demographic Policy, UN Global Compact Network in Russia and the RUIE Center for Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Financial Reporting.

Representatives of the leading research organizations and major companies – participants of the Social Charter of the Russian Business and UN Global Compact Network in Russia participated in the roundtable.

During the event, the Director of the RUIE Center for Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Financial Reporting, Deputy Chair of the Steering Committee of the UN Global Compact Network in Russia Elena Feoktistova presented the main provisions of the standard ISO 26000:2010 (GOST R ISO 26000:2012) and gave RUIE recommendations to the on conducting self-evaluation of the company’s work based on this standard’s provisions.

"RUIE proposed to the business community the tools, thereby lending methodological support to the Russian companies both in solving problems related to improving management efficiency and in positioning tasks in the field of social responsibility.

Conducting a full-blown diagnosis of their business processes and the organizing activities in key areas of the responsible business practices in accordance with the provisions of ISO 26000 should become a common practice for socially responsible companies," remarked the experts of ACIG Group of Companies.
