ACIG Group of Companies is the organizer of the contest "Pupils for Sustainable Future of Russia"

On December 16 a contest of innovative projects prepared by students of the Moscow general education institutions "Pupils for Sustainable Future of Russia" started.

The organizers of the event are the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the city of Moscow, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and ACIG Group of Companies.

The contest is aimed at creating conditions for professional self-determination of the Russian schoolchildren – 9-11th grade pupils from Moscow. The Contest events, which will be held from December 2013 to May 2014, are aimed at revealing talents of the Moscow pupils, developing their professional and personal skills, increasing their interest in obtaining high-demand professions and forming younger generation’s stance which would benefit Russia’s sustainable development.

Following a two-stage selection the Contest participants will undergo a series of trainings and develop their own projects on the topics they choose.

To take part in the first selection stage candidates have to fill in an application form on the Contest website and submit an essay on one of the three topics to the Contest Organizing Committee:

  • "WALL-E or Simple Ways How to Make Urban Spaces Cleaner";
  • "Business Ideas for Schoolchildren and Students: First Steps in Business";
  • "Convenient City: How to Make Urban Navigation Easy and Up-to-Date".

The pupils showing the best performance will be given a discount for studying at the RANEPA and a certificate for free pre-entry courses. Following their entry to the universities all Contest participants will have the right to take part in the annual contest of students and post-graduates "Sustainable Future of Russia" opening the ways to professional self-realization and opportunities for employment at the organizers’ and partners’ companies.
