Summer Campus 2013: Chronicles - a new issue of Strategy Journal

As part of its media business, ACIG Group of Companies has launched a new issue of its electronic Strategy Journal (Special issue (12), October 2013).

The special issue of the Journal is dedicated to the implementation principles of corporate social responsibility contributing to the development of the young leaders’ professional competencies.

Increasing the competitiveness of Russian universities among the world educational centers is currently one of the priority tasks aimed at intensifying human capital improvement. Universities are an important driver of Russia’s social and economic development. Training of highly qualified personnel contributes greatly to the use of public-private partnership mechanisms. The international educational forum Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy 2013 is an example of effective cooperation between the government agencies and business community. The results of the campus are covered in this issue of the Strategy Journal.

The topics of the new issue include organization of the project-oriented permanent platforms for professional development of young specialists, results of the G20 Youth Summit and the mechanisms to support the start-ups.

The issue also covers governmental decrees and orders aimed at improving the quality of human capital and its individual segments. Among them are the Federal Law No. 217 "On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation on the establishment of economic societies by funded research and educational institutions for purposes of practical use (implementation) of the results of intellectual activity" as well as a number of targeted support programs implemented by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Association of Innovative Regions of Russia and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

The experts of the issue are Nikolai Nikiforov, Minister of Communications and Mass Media, Sergei Myasoedov, Director of the Institute of Business Studies of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Dmitry Kaisin, Director of the Krasnogorsk Branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and others.
