The regional selection tour of the Contest "Young Professionals for Sustainable Future of Russia" to take place at the Young Scientists' Forum in Tomsk

On April 3-4, 2014, the practical session "Youth for Sustainable Future" will take place within the framework of the first All-Russian Forum of Young Scientists U-NOVUS in Tomsk. The moderators of event will be Board member of ACIG Group of Companies, Director of the Contest of Research and Project Works of Students and Post-Graduates "Young Professionals for Sustainable Future of Russia" Aleksei Shipov and Head of External Social Programs of the Public Sector Practice of ACIG Elena Ivanova.

The first part of the session will be dedicated to the presentation of the global project – "Sustainable Future of Russia", area for youth ideas and projects. In addition, the regional tour of the participants of the Contest of Research and Project Works of Students and Post-Graduates "Young Professionals for Sustainable Future of Russia" will take place for two days within the framework of the event. The participants will get a unique opportunity to communicate with the experts and get both an objective assessment of their ideas and projects, and expert advice from the leading industry experts, representatives of the business and academic communities. Following the results of the session, the experts will select a number of participants who will be able to continue to develop their socially significant initiatives within the framework of the Contest.

The contest is focused on closing the gap between the expectations of the responsible employers and competences of the young leaders. The goals of the Contest are finding talents among students and post-graduates, facilitating their professional and personal development, enhancing interest of the young people in mastering professional activity for the benefit of Russia’s sustainable future.
