Solemn Award Ceremony for the Winners of the Contest "Russia’s Sustainable Future" takes place
On January 19, in Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the results were summarized and the winners of the annual All-Russian Contest of Research and Project Works of Students and Post-Graduates "Russia’s Sustainable Future" 2012 were determined.
In the nomination "Enhancing quality and availability of public services", the winner is Oksana Tolkacheva, student of the East European Institute of Psychoanalysis, with the work "Group psychotherapy as a way of social and psychological adaptation for the disabled".
In the nomination "Public Institutions development as a prerequisite of Russia’s sustainable development", the winner is Maksim Leonov, student of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. His work "Research of the consequences of inflation targeting policy implementation by the Bank of Russia" was highly evaluated by the Central Contest Commission.
The work of Kseniya Ryazanova, student of the National Research South Ural State University, "Developing comprehensive system of dealing with municipal waste on the municipal district territory" (as exemplified by the Satkinsky municipal district of the Chelyabinsk region) won the first place in the nomination "Developing concept of generally adopted and/or alternative methods for addressing waste disposal problem in the Russian Federation (in legislation, necessary infrastructure, etc.)".
Laureates of the Contest were determined by the Central Contest Commission consisting of Viktor Tolmachev, Chairman of the ACIG Supervisory Board, Vladimir Mau, Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Aleksandr Ivlev, Managing Partner for Russia in Ernst & Young, Sanjiv Kakkar, President of Unilever in Russia, the Ukraine and Belarus, Aleksei Komissarov, Head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Moscow City Government, Stanislav Naumov, President of the Russian Association for Public Relations, Yuri Udaltsov, Director for Innovation Development of RUSNANO JSC, Oleg Fomichev, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
Organizers of the conference, ACIG Group of Companies and Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration gave the finalists an opportunity to take education program of their choice. Laureates were conferred 100,000 rubles certificate for the 1st place, 50,000 rubles certificate for the 2nd place and 20,000 rubles certificate for the 3rd place.
Viktor Tolmachev and Vladimir Mau congratulated the laureates with the merited recognition of their talents, wished all the participants professional and every success in their creative work and announced the start of the new Contest-2013.
