ACIG Group of Companies Participates in Asia-Pacific Business Forum

A two-day meeting of the Asia-Pacific Business Forum (APBF) took place in February in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The key topic of the discussion was “Sustainable Development Based on Regional Integration: The Role of Regional Business Networks”. Mikhail Prokudin, Head of the International Relations Department at ACIG Group of Companies, attended the Forum as a participant of the working group.

The event was attended by more than 400 representatives of governments, civil society organizations, as well as business leaders from 15 countries. The Forum was organized by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), the Ministry of Commerce, and the International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh (ICCB).

"We have discussed the role and responsibility of business in the field of sustainable development of trade and investment, increasing research potential, technology and innovations. This is an important step towards improving economic growth and strengthening the Asia-Pacific community,” Mikhail Prokudin says.

Recall that Victor Tolmachev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ACIG Group of Companies, has been the only representative of Russia in UN ESCAP Business Advisory Council since November 2014.

APBF is the main dialogue platform and networking event. It has been held in the Asia-Pacific region annually since in 2004 to discuss the most pressing issues, determined by the business community.
