Young Talents to Receive Awards at Gaidar Forum 2017

The results of our work over the year will be summed up on January 13th during a solemn awarding ceremony after announcing the winners of the Sustainable Future of Russia platform for young professionals.

The Sustainable Future of Russia platform for young professionals brings young leaders of Russia together, creates conditions for self-fulfillment and forms a personnel reserve for sustainable development of the country. Platform partners are the largest commercial companies, government agencies, leading universities and representatives of the expert community. Young participants not only receive expert assessment of their projects and researches, develop hard and soft skills in the course of the author's educational program, but also find new ways to develop career opportunities. This individual approach helps to reduce a gap between the level of training of young specialists and the requirements for today's employers. It will be easier for platform graduates to find a new job, and for the platform partners to find new employees.

During the awarding ceremony the authors of the best 12 projects will receive grants for education and development of professional skills. The winners will be invited for an internship in the largest Russian and international companies that participated in the event as platform partners. In 2016, participants were selected on the basis of topics on main spheres of development of our country for the next 10-15 years. For example, SAP raised the matter of the digital transformation development and changes in the economy by 2030. Unilever has provided an opportunity for participants to look into the issue of legislative regulation as a factor in building a sustainable business in Russia. ACIG Group Companies focused on the development of lean manufacturing in the country and offered young professionals to develop projects and implement the concept of sustainable pursuit of perfection. The topic of human development worked out by RANEPA was also discussed within the state and municipal management system.

The ceremony was attended by Rector of RANEPA Vladimir Mau, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ACIG Group of Companies Victor Tolmachev, Vice President Sustainable Business & Comms at Unilever Irina Bakhtina, Vice President HR at Unilever Nadezhda Ryabova, Deputy General Director SAP in the CIS Dmitry Shepelyaviy, and Head of Brand Management Services at Headhunter Group Irina Svyatitskaya.

The second part of the ceremony will be dedicated to development plans of the Platform in 2017. Now we can surely say that the event has turned from a local competition into a Platform for the promotion of young professionals from all parts of Russia. By tradition, topics for 2017 will be announced at the end of the awarding ceremony. That moment will be a starting point for receiving applications from future participants of the Platform.
