Omsk Hosts Practical Session of Youth for Sustainable Future Platform

Practical session of the Youth for Sustainable Future platform was held in Omsk F. M. Dostoevsky State University on 2 April. Over 200 students and young professionals participated in this session.

It was organized by ACIG Group of Companies and RANEPA. Unilever is the general partner of the event.

The session started with the discussion, entitled Business, State, Youth, and Their Synergy for Sustainable Development. The participants discussed some of the current issues related to development of initiatives of young people, their competences and careers as well as their contribution to sustainable development of Russia with the expert community.

Irina Antyushina, USLP Manager at Unilever, lectured on the role of strategic communications in corporate management later.

“The platform for young professional is a like-minded organization for us and an efficient channel for communication with young talents. It engages more participants with every year. For us it presents an opportunity to search for new employees, committed professionals. We interact with many participants. For example Daniil Kozlov, author of one of the most successful projects on our topic, will be invited as an expert to some events and activities by the company’s senior management,” Ms. Antyushina said.

Projects of the participants were presented to the expert panel in the afternoon. Platform experts noted the project ‘Do not try to escape Omsk’ aimed at popularization of the city sights among young people as one of the most outstanding projects.
