Crimean Youth Forum "Sustainable Future of Russia" will take place on June 10–11 in Simferopol

One of the key objectives of the Forum is to attract students, postgraduates, young scientists and professionals and to give them opportunity to participate in solving the problems related to the development of the Crimea and Russia, to present their innovative projects and ideas, as well as to become a part of the country’s young staff reserve.

The topic of the first day of the forum is "The Republic of Crimea: the Formula of Economic Growth." The following experts will take part in the discussion:

  • Oleg Belaventsev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Crimean Federal District
  • Oleg Savelyev, Minister of Crimean Affairs of the Russian Federation
  • Sergey Aksyonov, Acting Governor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea
  • Krasnikova Oksana, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of the Autonomus Republic of Crimea
  • Dmitry Butashin, Vice-Rector for Regional Development of the RANEPA

The event will open with a presentation of a large-scale project "Sustainable Future of Russia". Alexey Shipov, the Board member of the ACIG Group of Companies and the Director of the Contest "Young Professionals for Sustainable Future of Russia", will present the key objectives and tasks of this discussion platform, which serves as a system for creating young staff reserve and enforcing the culture of sustainable development among the youth.

In addition, the following panel sessions will take place on the first day:

  • Measurable macroeconomics: indicators and indexes of social and economic development of Russia
  • Development of the tourism in the territory of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol
  • Talent management: how to recognize, attract and preserve the best of the best

The second day of the Forum will focus on forming young staff reserve of the Republic of Crimea. Presentations of ideas and projects, panel discussions for experts and participants, lectures for future specialists and other educational activities will take place in the framework of the regional selection for the Contest of Research and Project Works of Students and Postgraduates project "Young Professionals for Sustainable Future of Russia".

In the framework of the round table "The Strategy of Tourism Development in the Republic of Crimea" there will be a meeting of the interdepartmental working group "Research, expert, consulting, educational and methodological support for  the development of resort and tourist complex of the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol (Crimea Federal District)" which will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Crimean Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of the Autonomus Republic of Crimea and experts of  the RANEPA and the ACIG Group of Companies. Acute problems of modernizing the resort industry and developing a model for increasing the flow of tourists to the Republic of Crimea will be discussed.

The main purpose of the Crimean Youth Forum is to heighten interest in the issues of development of the country, attract young professionals to the staff reserve, enforce the culture of Russia’s sustainable future, elaborate and introduce new solutions and tools for development of Russia, its territories and organizations.

The organizers of the Crimean Youth Forum "Sustainable Future of Russia" are the Ministry of Crimean Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation and the ACIG Group of Companies.
