ACIG comes up with an agreement on cooperation with the Russian-German Energy Agency (rudea).

On September 19, 2012, a meeting between Chairman of the ACIG Supervisory Board Victor Tolmachev and Director General of the Russian-German Energy Agency Michail Prokudin took place, which resulted in signing an Agreement on Mutual Recognition and Cooperation.

The Cooperation Agreement between  ACIG and the Russian-German Energy Agency is aimed at promoting Germany’s advanced scientific and technological practices in the field of enhancing energy efficiency and implementing energy saving technologies on the territory of the Russian Federation. Under the agreements reached, the parties will inform and consult each other on the promising issues of socio-economic, socio-political, socio-cultural, economic and political activities of the Governments of both countries in the above mentioned field.

The Russian-German Energy Agency was established at the initiative of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.

On July 16, 2009, the Constituent documents of the Russian-German Energy Agency were signed in Munich within the 11th round of the high-level Russian-German interstate consultations, as well as the Agreements on research and technical cooperation and a Joint Declaration of the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economics and Technologies of the Federal Republic of Germany.
