Award ceremony for the winners of the third annual contest of students and postgraduates "Sustainable Future of Russia" to take place on January 18

On January 18, the award ceremony for the winners of the third annual "Sustainable Future of Russia" contest of research and project works by students and postgraduates "Sustainable Future of Russia" will take place in the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration within the framework of the Gaidar Forum 2014.

As part of its social responsibility practice, ACIG Group of Companies, together with the RANEPA, acts as the contest organizer. The General Partners of the contest are Coca-Cola and Unilever, the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia is its partner.

The "Sustainable Future of Russia" contest is aimed at eliminating the barriers between the needs of responsible employers and knowledge of universities’ graduates, revealing the talents among the Russian students and postgraduates, professional and personal growth of participants, increasing interest of the youth in acquiring the chosen profession and forming a stance for the benefit of Russia’s sustainable development. This initiative is aimed at defining the most important ways for development of youth initiatives towards increasing Russia’s competitiveness at the global level.

In 2013 the organizers have chosen the following topics:

  • Business management: tools for increasing internal effectiveness;
  • Doing Business Rating: how to conquer a summit;
  • Increasing competitiveness of the Russian universities among the leading global research and educational centers;
  • Public-private partnership in environment protection;
  • Development, establishment and promotion of products corresponding with the sustainable growth concept: how to win success among consumers.

The laureates of the contest were chosen by the Central Contest Commission which this year includes Vladimir Mau, Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Victor Tolmachev, Chairman of ACIG Supervisory Board, Aleksandr Ivlev, Country Managing Partner for Russia for EY, Aleksei Komissarov, Moscow Government Minister and Head of Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, Andrei Nikitin, Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects, Anton Chuklin, Deputy Executive Director of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, Unilever Vice President for Human Resources in Russia, Ukraine & Belarus Theodore Kitsos and Coca-Cola Bottlers Eurasia Public Affairs & Communication Director Anna Kozlovskaya.

The finalists of the contest will be able to undertake a unique educational program according to their prize places.
