Closing ceremony of the Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy takes place on July 29

On July 29, the Closing ceremony of the first Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy, organized by ACIG, RANEPA and the Republic of Tatarstan, took place. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Rector of the RANEPA Vladimir Mau took part in the solemn ceremony.

During his speech, Vladimir Mau expressed his gratitude to the organizers and told about his intention to establish the second Summer Campus, based on the positive experience of conducting the pilot project in the republic of Kazakhstan. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov reiterated the commitment of the Tatarstan Government to support this educational initiative further on.

“264 participants from 23 regions of Russia took part in the educational program of the Summer Campus. More than five thousand students from all over the country aspired to participate in this educational program. High competition and thorough selection made the guests of the Summer Campus feel proud that they were a part of this project. The Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy provided a unique opportunity to take a training course, where high-profile representatives of federal and regional ministries and experienced business experts lectured instead of teachers”, Mr Khalikov underlined.

A series of trainings aimed at personal and professional growth of students and obtaining competences, necessary for further study and work, were organized by the ACIG experts within the framework of the Summer Campus. The Head of theACIG Public Sector practice Aleksey Shipov presented a master class on “New Management Methods” and told the students about the approaches aimed at increasing efficiency in public and private sectors as exemplified in the case studies.

The participants of the Annual All-Russia competition of research and project works of students and post-graduates “Sustainable Future of Russia”, established by ACIG and RANEPA, also took part in the educational program of the Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy. The project encourages young people to take part in the innovation activities and increases the level of education of the future specialists. The final of the competition will take place in January 2013 within the framework of the Gaidar Forum.

TheACIG participation in projects aimed at developing professional capacity of young people is a successful example of how socially responsible business can contribute to the formation of the national candidate pool and consequently, sustainable future of the country.
