The final of the contest "Pupils for Sustainable Future of Russia" takes place on February 8, 2014, at the RANEPA

Representatives of ACIG Group of Companies, the RANEPA and Unilever congratulated 36 finalists of the Contest. Vice Rector of the RANEPA Ivan Fedotov thanked the participants for their active work in the previous rounds. Director for Corporate Relations at Unilever Irina Bakhtina also pointed out the unique character of the first Contest among the schoolchildren and invited all pupils to visit Unilever’s Moscow office. “I have discovered the concept of sustainable development for myself when I joined Unilever, and I am very pleased that today this strategy arouses interests not only among students, but also among schoolchildren,” the expert commented. Addressing the Contest finalists, Member of the Board of ACIG Group of Companies Aleksei Shipov noted that for pupils oriented at obtaining knowledge and interested in their own future all doors are open on the way to their goals.

Following the solemn ceremony a training session aimed at stimulating creative thinking and search for innovative ideas was held for the finalists. Besides, during the training the participants were able to communicate with each other and try themselves as leaders. “When preparing innovative projects we need to find non-trivial solutions switching from creative process to profound detailed development of the project. My task is to teach the participants how to manage their thinking, understand themselves better and overcome their fears on the way to the set goal,” the Deputy Director of the ACIG HR Consulting Department Tatyana Pavilova said.

The organizers of the contest "Pupils for Sustainable Future of Russia" are the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the city of Moscow, the RANEPA and ACIG Group of Companies. Unilever is the general partner of the event.
