Experts of the ACIG Group of Companies take part in the International Innovation Forum "Interra-2013"

On September 6-7, 2013, Novosibirsk hosted the 5th International Innovation Forum "Interra-2013". Over five thousand participants and 250 experts from 11 countries took part in the event. This year the Forum was dedicated to "Educational Sector as a Source of Innovative Development". The Forum mission is to facilitate profound re-thinking of the role of education in social and economic development, disseminate best practices in education and build up effective integration links between economy, society and education.

The Forum program included a plenary meeting, several roundtables, a forum of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, the expert symposium "Values of Education and Innovations in Education", the Festival "Informal Education" and "School Interra".

Representatives of federal and regional authorities, academic community, industry-specific associations, venture funds and major companies took part in the Forum events. Anton Chuklin, Member of the ACIG Supervisory Board, and Aleksei Shipov, Member of the ACIG Board, took part in the Forum as experts.

The participants discussed modernization of the education system in the context of regional comprehensive development, as well as the key issues of such industries as IT, corporate education, social entrepreneurship and creative development of younger generation. Anton Chuklin and Aleksei Shipov held a series of meetings with the representatives of government authorities to further strengthen cooperation and develop new areas for joint efforts.

According to the ACIG experts, establishment of a new sustainable economic growth model can be achieved only if education system and innovations in education play a more important role, providing for active assistance from the Government and business to development of competitive scientific personnel.
