Member of the ACIG Board Anton Chuklin takes part in the 8th Kazan Venture Fair

On April 25, the 8th Kazan Venture Fair took place. It is a platform for communication and constructive dialog between investors and managers of the new booming companies in the sector of technology innovations. The organizers of the Fair traditionally are the Russian Venture Capital Association and the Venture Investment Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. The member of the ACIG Board Anton Chuklin took part in the event.

Kazan Venture Fair is one of the leading Russian regional platforms for attracting investments. The platform includes numerous events aimed at exchange of experience in direct investment and venture capital, discussion of matters of common concern and topical issues, identifying efficient development strategies for companies, as well as establishing business connections for further development of business.

As in earlier years, representatives of the Russian and foreign venture funds and direct investment funds were invited to take part in the Fair, as well as strategic and private investors, “business-angels”, representatives of large corporations, specialists from investment companies and banks, legal and consulting organizations, representatives of the interested federal and regional ministries and agencies.

This year, the 3rd Russian Tech Tour – an independent platform for presentation of projects by promising technology companies to the international investors and heads of big companies – took place within the framework of the Kazan Venture Fair. As always, the Fair finished with the awarding ceremony for the companies – authors of the most successful projects.

Following the event, the ACIG Board member Anton Chuklin noted: “Investment support for perspective projects is an irreplaceable tool for achievement of the goal of creating 25 million hi-tech jobs and increasing competitiveness of Russia’s general compatibility. ACIG Group of Companies and the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia provide expert assistance and consulting services to the promising start-up projects within the framework of the strategy aimed at facilitating Russia’s innovative sustainable development. There’s no doubt that holding such a large-scale event as Kazan Venture Fair supports innovative ideas and contributes to the growth of innovative business.”
